Then, those grinding media would then work, crush, and fracture the particles by impact or when the balls transpose from the top of the vessel downward.
This process continues on for minutes or until the size desired is achieved.

In the case of air classifying mills, however, the procedure is a bit different. The feedstock is fed with the powder or the particles that need to be reduced.
Then, the grinding process would involve a rotating or a rotor disc that is equipped with grinding blades. The better and the more advanced thing about ACM machines is that it would allow you to create uniform sizes of the particles that you want.
